Hello, sahabat netter,,,Kali ini Ramadhani blog ingin berbagi sebuah dialog Bahasa Inggris tentang pemeriksaan suhu tubuh. Semoga ini bisa bermanfaat terutama bagi mahasiswa keperawatan dalam mengerjakan tugas. Langsung saja disimak....


Nurse      : Assalamualaikum
Mrs. M    : Waalaikumsalam, Come in please
Nurse      : Good morning Mrs.                        
Mrs M     : Good morning, Nurse
Nurse      : I'm nurse Hendry, I am going to check your child's temperature
Mrs M     : Yes, please nurse

Nurse      : Hello, Good morning
Ikhsan     : Good morning, nurse
Nurse      : Is your name Ikhsan ?
Ikhsan     : Yes, My name is Ikhsan
Nurse      : How are you doing Ikhsan ?
Ikhsan     : I am rather unwell, nurse. I have got fever
Nurse      : Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. Did you sleep well last night ?
Ikhsan     : Not to well, nurse
Nurse      : I see, have you taken any medicine ?
Ikhsan     : Yes, I have
Nurse      : Good, Ok Ikhsan, I just want to take your temperature with a thermometer
Ikhsan     : Yes, please
Nurse      : Could you raise your arm because I'll put this thermometer on your armpit ?
Ikhsan     : Like this nurse ?
Nurse      : Yes, thanks (then the nurse puts it at his armpit) and now place your left hand on your shoulder for a moment
Ikhsan     : My pleasure
Nurse      : Very good

After 5 minutes, he takes thermometer back from Ikhsan's armpit

Nurse      : Ok, finished.Thank you
Ikhsan     : You're welcome, nurse. You are very kind
Nurse      : Thank you

Mrs M     : Nurse, how is my child's temperature ?
Nurse      : His temperature is high, it's about 39'C.
Mrs M     : I see. I'm afraid,nurse.
Nurse      : Dont worry, Mrs M. I suggest your child to drink plenty of liquid and sponge bath as with lukewarm water for temperature over 38,9' C for 15-20 minutes to lower his temperature
Mrs M    : Oh, Ok, nurse.
Nurse     : And please, do not use alcohol or ice for sponging.
Mrs M    : Ok, nurse.
Nurse     : Well, Mrs M, I will go to nurse station. Have you any question ?
Mrs M    : No, I haven't. Thanks a lot, nurse.
Nurse     : You're welcome
